After walking the Greenbuild 2013 exhibitor hall Nov. 20-21 it became evident that major manufacturers did not pack as many new products or technologies for the Philadelphia incarnation of the premier sustainable building trade show.
During the 2013 AHR Expo in Dallas, the trade show’s leaders distributed a survey to its 55,000 attendees. The results were a tad surprising coming out of the industry’s premier HVACR event. Nearly 18% of attendees say they are interested in plumbing products and technologies. The show’s organizers and exhibiting companies have responded in earnest to those results.
In 2013, the bath and kitchen manufacturer reached many new benchmarks, including 10 years of its Raindance showerhead, 15 years of Hansgrohe China, 20 years of its partnership with renowned designer Phillipe Starck and 40 years of Hansgrohe Spain.
On occasion, luck plays a huge role. A couple years ago when the American Supply Association was sealing the deal to hold NetworkASA 2013 in Washington, D.C., the group led by Executive Vice President Mike Adelizzi had no inclination an issue such as tax reform would be up for discussion by Congress.
The Watts Water Technologies family rolled out the proverbial red carpet in June as the company officially cut the ribbon on its new 30,000-sq.-ft. lead-free plumbing products foundry in Franklin, N.H.
