Expert PVF analyst to contribute to multiple BNP Media and ASA platforms.

Morris Beschloss
Veteran industry analyst and writer
Morris Beschloss has rejoined
Supply House Times as the magazine’s industrial PVF columnist.
Beschloss, whose association with the magazine dates back
to its infancy under founder
Charlie
Horton, will debut his “Beschloss Perspective” column in the
January issue.
As part of his partnership with
Supply
House Times parent company
BNP Media, Beschloss will contribute to all BNP
Media Plumbing Group publications and their associated e-media properties. His
writings also will appear in the January issues of
Plumbing
& Mechanical and
PM Engineer (pme) and will
frequently be featured in
PVF
e-news, Supply House Times’ bi-weekly e-newsletter covering the industrial
pipe, valves and fittings market.
Additionally, BNP Media is creating a dedicated “Beschloss
Perspective” website that will provide an additional digital outlet for
Beschloss’ long-running newsletter bearing the same name. The website will
debut in 2013.
“Morrie Beschloss’ knowledge and expertise further
strengthens Supply House Times’ and the BNP Media Plumbing Group’s roster of
industry-leading columnists,” Supply House Times Editor
Mike Miazga said. “We look
forward to bringing Morrie’s insights to our readers through our various print
and e-media platforms.”
Plumbing Group Publisher
Bob Miodonski added: “I’ve
known Morrie Beschloss for 20 years. Safe to say, no one knows the PVF industry
better - or cares about it more - than Morrie does.”
The ASA Connection
Through a broader agreement with Supply House Times partner
American
Supply Association, Beschloss joins the association as its industry analyst.
Supply House Times is the official publication of ASA.
Beschloss, a recent recipient of
ASA’s
Fred V. Keenan Lifetime Achievement Award, will provide analysis to ASA senior
staff and volunteer leaders of the association’s Industrial Piping Division on
PVF trends in key segments such as energy, chemical and industrial markets. His
vast array of knowledge in these areas will assist the association in the
continued development of its ongoing strategic planning to best position ASA
members for long-term success.
He will become a principal author to the association’s PVF Outlook publication and
will be featured in ASA Insights,
the association’s weekly e-newsletter.
“We are
excited about Morrie agreeing to join us and our association’s official
publication. His vast knowledge and insight of the forces that impact the PVF
markets will greatly assist our members to navigate the future,” ASA Executive
Vice President
Michael Adelizzi
said. “We believe this new direction will vastly expand the availability of
Morrie’s expertise not only throughout industry circles, but also to the 20,000
industry customers who now receive our quarterly PVF Outlook
publication.”
