The Disney
organization has long been known for innovative business practices, many of
which visitors to its theme parks experience in subtle ways. For instance,
lines for rides and restaurants have signs at certain points telling how long
the wait will be from that position - 15 minutes, 30 minutes, etc. Except
the times are exaggerated. Usually the wait is somewhat shorter.
They
are following the business precept of
"under-promise,
over-deliver." Most businesses take the opposite tack and say
anything to mollify customers even if there's little chance of fulfilling the
promise.

Mouse knows best.
