“AHR Expo® Plumbing and Hydronics Symposium-PM Live” is the
name of an interesting and informative program on plumbing and hydronic heating
that will be offered at AHR Expo® for the first time, Jan. 22, 2008.
The symposium will feature four well-known industry experts
in two separate seminars designed to help plumbing and heating contractors
enhance their business operations. The sessions are being presented by
Plumbing & Mechanical magazine, a BNP publication.
The first seminar, titled, “Leadership Power,” is designed to help contractors
discover “success with less stress.” Hosted by
PM
columnists
Al Levi and
Ellen Rohr, the
hands-on seminar will assist contractors in learning how to systematically
solve problems and shore up their financial foundation, and hone their
leadership skills.
The second seminar, “Hydronic Heating Conference,” will
showcase speakers
Dan Holohan and
John
Siegenthaler, also columnists for
PM, on the
same program for only the second time. “Siggy” will provide insights on the
capabilities of modern hydronic products. Holohan will then offer a
colorful presentation on “How to Sell Modern Hydronics.”
“The Symposium will be an important feature of AHR Expo 2008,” said
Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Co.,
which manages and produces AHR Expo. “It will provide a valuable new
perspective to our plumbing contractor audience.”
As the largest and most comprehensive exposition in the HVAC&R industry,
the AHR Expo attracts thousands of attendees from all facets of the industry,
including contractors, engineers, dealers, distributors, wholesalers, OEMs,
architects and builders, industrial plant operators, facility owners and
managers, agents and reps.
The expo is co-sponsored by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and
Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration
Institute (ARI). The Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Institute of
Canada (HRAI) is an honorary sponsor.
