Pipe tool technology manufacturerRothenberger USArecently opened its new United States headquarters in Loves Park, Ill.

The company’s manufacturing and distribution operations will now run out of the Loves Park facility. Rothenberger’s Los Angeles operation, which manufactured pipe-threading machines and pipe cutters, was moved to the new location, as was its Memphis, Tenn., distribution center.

“It’s an exciting time for us,” Rothenberger USA Vice President and General ManagerChera Ellistold Supply House Times at the event. “We’ve created some new jobs and with the growth we are having, we are looking forward to there being more new jobs.”

Scott Hall, president of Textron’s Industrial Segment, noted the new facility was a long time in the making. Rothenberger and Greenlee Textron have operated under a joint venture agreement since 2005. Greenlee is a market-leader in electrical tools and continues to make inroads with its products in the plumbing chain. “This is a tribute to Chera and her team for the growth that has occurred. A standalone investment was warranted,” Hall said.
