One of the latest initiatives by kitchen and bath distributorDavis & Warshow(Maspeth, NY) as part of its Practically Green program involves the installation of 1,038 solar panels affixed to the roofs of three buildings housing corporate offices and a central warehouse within the company’s 250,000-sq.-ft. complex on Maspeth Creek. The panels should produce in excess of 270,000 kWh of clean energy annually, enough to satisfy more than a third of the facility’s usage.
