Grundfos Pumps Corp. held a grand opening of its substantially enlarged training and fabrication facility in Allentown, PA. The plant, expanded by 64,000 sq. ft., is now a total of 104,000 sq. ft. The additional space will enable the company to expand local assembly operations of commercial and industrial product, service and distribution through the eastern U.S. and Canada and increase its training activities for partners on the East coast. Guests were invited to tour the facility and also visit the “trade show on wheels,” an 18-wheel truck that houses a classroom and movie theatre.
