Ricardo Nuñez, HD Supply Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, and others honored for their leadership in the Hispanic community as part of Hispanic Heritage Week with an invitation to the White House.

In recognition of his leadership in the Hispanic community, Ricardo Nuñez, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for HD Supply, has been invited to the White House for the President’s remarks today in honor of Hispanic Heritage Week. Nuñez joins Georgia State Representative David Casas in his visit to the White House.

Nuñez has been active in the Latin American Association and National Society of Hispanic MBA’s. He has served as Director of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, as a member of the Junior Achievement Hispanic Advisory Board, and as a member of the Cobb County Latino Initiative. Nuñez has also been a founder or advisor to multiple Hispanic corporate affinity organizations.  He serves on the Board of Nuevo Caminar, Inc., a South Florida-based charity dedicated to the rehabilitation of people addicted to drugs.

  • Ensuring Spanish speaking customers can identify Spanish speaking sales associates by including ‘We Speak Your Language’ on their badges in major Hispanic markets
  • Partnering with suppliers that produce both English and Spanish marketing materials for their products throughout the businesses
