New CEOs will be taking over at Masco Corp., Geberit North America/Chicago Faucet Co. and Bradley Corp. Those changes and other executive appointments within these companies are described below.

Masco Corp.

The board of Masco Corp. named Timothy Wadhams chief executive officer; Donald J. DeMarie Jr., executive vice president; John G. Sznewajs, vice president/chief financial officer; and Richard Manoogian, executive chairman. These appointments went into effect July 1.

Wadhams, who joined the company in 1976, most recently was senior vice president and CFO. DeMarie, who was Masco’s group president for the Installation and Other Services segment, will continue to oversee that segment. He also will assume an increasing leadership role for Masco operating divisions as Alan Barry, Masco’s president and chief operating officer, transitions toward his previously announced retirement in early 2008.

Sznewajs will remain treasurer and continue to oversee the corporate development function he directed as vice president for corporate development. Manoogian was formerly the CEO and is only the second chairman and CEO in Masco’s 78-year history. As executive chairman he will remain actively involved with corporate strategy and other business matters as well as external activities and relations, including those with business, government and community leaders.

Geberit North America/The Chicago Faucet Co.

Geberit AG announced that William Christensen, CEO of Geberit North America/The Chicago Faucet Co., based in Des Plaines, IL, will relocate to the Geberit corporate office in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, and lead marketing for Geberit.  

Andreas Nowak, currently the managing director of Geberit’s Austrian sales company, will become the CEO of Geberit North America/The Chicago Faucet Co.  

Detailed transition plans have been developed and the changes in management roles and responsibility will occur during August 2007. Chicago Faucets will continue to focus on growing its commercial portfolio, while the Geberit brand is positioned in the residential market with both its concealed tank/carrier system and its waste fittings and traps product lines, according to Albert M. Baehny, CEO of Geberit AG.



Sipek

Bradley Corp.

Bradley Corp. appointed Mike Sipek chief operating officer and promoted Bryan Mullett to vice president of operations.

Most recently, Sipek served for five years as president and CEO of Western Industries. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, including a stint at Rexnord Corp. that began in 1975. He held numerous positions there, which ultimately led to his being named group president of marketing, sales and field operations in 2000, responsible for all of Rexnord’s commercial and distribution functions. Sipek will assist Bill Anderson, CEO, with leading the company’s continuous improvement and innovation programs. Sipek will assume leadership of the company as CEO when Anderson retires later this year.

Mullett

Mullett formerly was director of operations for Bradley’s restroom fixtures products and he will now manage operations for both the company’s accessories and fixtures divisions. Bryan Mullett and his brother, Erik, are the fifth generation of Mulletts to lead Bradley. Their father, Donald Mullett, is chairman of the company.

Bradley manufactures plumbing fixtures, restroom accessories and emergency equipment.
