West Columbia, SC-based Cregger Co. opened a Design On Tap offsite decorative plumbing showroom in Murrells Inlet, SC, in August. More than 200 local home builders, plumbing contractors, interior designers and architects attended a cocktail reception at the grand opening.

This is the fourth offsite showroom and it is located directly on Hwy 17 Bypass, the major artery along South Carolina’s Grand Strand.

“The Design On Tap concept is working very well for us,” John Skeppstrom, vice president of sales and marketing at Cregger Co., said in a statement. “Today’s upscale consumer wants to be able to touch and feel the latest luxury kitchen and bath trends.”

The new 3,200-sq.-ft. showroom features 18 functioning shower and rain heads, two working steam showers, and a large working kitchen faucet display. A free-standing functional glass enclosure from Sculptured Homes includes steam bath, body sprays, rain head, personal shower, stereo speakers and fiber optic lighting. In addition to bath furniture pieces, farmhouse and undermount sinks set in granite, concrete and wood are displayed. TOTO’s Neorest water closets are available for clients to try in the public restrooms.

The Design on Tap showrooms offer convenient parking, an attractive retail façade and an inspiring mix of products and displays. Professional design consultants are available to discuss projects.

“Because we’re also a traditional wholesale plumbing distributor, we can bring the plumbing contractor into the process seamlessly as well,” Skeppston said. “It’s a real win/win for everyone involved.”

The other Design On Tap showrooms are in Charleston, SC; Boone, NC; and Shiloh, IL. Additional locations are planned.
