The HVAC Quality Installation Specification (ANSI/ACCA 5 Q1-2007) that has been developed and published by the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) as part of an Approved American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard will be available this month.

This ground-breaking publication provides installing contractors, building inspectors, technical schools, and utility rebate programs a written guide as to how HVAC systems should be properly installed so they meet published efficiencies, and so they maximize the comfort for building occupants.



The specifications are simply written, covering only 15 pages of the 40-page book. Subjects include:
