Bradley Corp. was founded by Howard A. Mullett in 1921 after he and several partners bought the rights to the washfountain from inventor Harry Bradley of the Allen-Bradley Corp. According to the company, Bradley created the group handwashing concept to keep his workers on the shop floor. Today Donald Mullett, the fourth generation to lead the company, serves as CEO of the Wisconsin-based manufacturer.
In addition to the washfountain, the company said it introduced a group shower fixture in 1931; a column shower in 1940; a yellow-colored emergency fixture in 1972; solid plastic lockers in 1990; a multi-height lavatory system in 2003; OneStep bottled eyewash in 2004; and a light-powered lavatory system in 2005.
