The ASA Education Foundation will co-sponsor the 2005 University of Industrial Distribution (UID) on Sunday, March 13 - through Wednesday March 16 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Participants in the program will be able to choose from 22 workshops grouped into Sales and Marketing, Profitability and Financial Improvement, Branch and Operations Management, Human Resource Management and Strategic Issues.

Participants will learn about the Planning and Managing the Distributorship for Greater Profits from Don Rice. They will sharpen their sales skills with Value Added Selling and Crushing Price Objections with Tom Reilly. Dr. John Monoky will help participants develop Advanced Territory and Account Management Techniques. Bruce Merrifield will provide loads of take home solutions for branch managers with Productivity Tactics for Branch Managers.

These, and 17 other courses taught by the distribution industry's top instructors and trainers, will provide a comprehensive opportunity for distributors, manufacturers and manufacturers' reps to target the critical operations and management skills most needed by their staff.

The University of Industrial Distribution will be held at the Indiana University/Purdue University Conference Center in downtown Indianapolis.
