The Swan Corp., also known as Swanstone, is introducing new solid surface products and running several promotions in celebration of its 40th anniversary.

Dealers, retailers and installers will have a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas that includes roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations for two, plus $1,964. Each solid surface Swanstone product bought or sold during the promotion will be an entry in the sweepstakes.

New designs include lavatory bowls, a line of decorative shower and tub wall panels, decorative solid surface trim and molding, and decorative edge vanity tops.

The company began in the early 1960s when founder John W. Moore bought the rights to the Shell Shower, a spiral-shaped shower system made of molded fiberglass. He began manufacturing and marketing the system under The Swan Corp. name in 1964.

Swan's product offering has expanded over the years to include a variety of Swanstone bath and shower walls, tubs and shower floors, including ADA-approved, barrier-free shower products, as well as Swanstone custom solid surface countertops, available in an assortment of colors and finishes. The company also makes vanity tops in designs and colors to coordinate with tubs and showers.

The Swan Corp. also manufactures solid surfacing for commercial applications. These customers include: Wendy's, Houlihan's, McDonald's, Holiday Inn, Peter Pan Bus Lines and Concord Health Club.
