Lasco Bathware has a new president, Jack McDonald, who also remains president of Lasco Fittings, another construction products company operated by Tomkins Industries.

McDonald was appointed president of Lasco Fittings, a PVC pipe fittings producer for the commercial plumbing and irrigation industry, in 1993.

Prior to joining Lasco Fittings, he was vice president and general manager for Ventline, a Philips Products company.

In his new role at Lasco Bathware, he will manage more than 2,000 employees in nine locations nationally.

McDonald succeeds Dave Bienek, who retired after 12 years as president and a total of 27 years with Lasco Bathware to pursue other entrepreneurial business interests. During his tenure, Bienek expanded the company by adding plants in Texas, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Nevada. Under his leadership, the number of employees increased from 800 to more than 2,000. Tomkins Industries is a global engineering group.
