The National Fire Protection Association will hold its 2005 World Safety Conference and Exposition at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, June 5-10. The event originally had been scheduled for Indianapolis.

“The shift was driven by results of a recent survey, which spoke loud and clear that our customers are looking for us to hold World Safety in first-tier, destination cities,” said Al Sears, NFPA vice president for meeting services. “This change also complements our commitment to broaden the event's attendee base so it more closely reflects the scope of NFPA's influence in areas beyond fire and life safety,” he added.
