James (Butch) Warren, 61, who held sales and management positions for D&C Plumbing & Heating Supply of Ann Arbor, Mich., for more than 35 years, died April 5 at his home after a two-year battle with cancer. He joined the company in 1967, worked as a salesman and then became a branch manager. Over the years he served as branch manager for several branches, including Tecumseh and Ann Arbor, Mich. For the last two years he was semi-retired but coordinated customer events and golf outings for the wholesaler. "He was part of the reason for our success in Ann Arbor," said David Morrison, president/CEO. "He knew the builders and plumbers and was a big part of the community."
