Winner installs TwistPfit faucet in less than 23 seconds

Price Pfister brought seven plumbers from across the United States and Canada to the North American Expo to compete in the companys "Twist-Off" finals.

The plumbers were timed as they installed a TwistPfit widespread lavatory faucet, which features above-the-counter installation and pre-assembled parts. The fastest time was 22.89 seconds by Darren Honey, who works with A-1 Service Plumbing (St. George, Utah). He won a Polaris Virage watercraft with trailer, valued at about $7,000. Mark Ray of Alexander City, Ala., recorded the second fastest time, 29.72 seconds. Other times ranged from 30.09 to 41.69 seconds.

More than 5,000 plumbers participated in competitions at local wholesale, showroom and plumbing supply locations.
