The Plastic Pipe and Fittings Association will examine the future of the industry and PPFA's role in it at its 2001 Fall Meeting Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, St. Petersburg, Fla.

David Orr, professor and chair of the Environmental Studies Program at Oberlin College, will deliver the General Session Keynote address on "green" building. Orr is known for his pioneering work on environmental literacy and ecological design.

Also, PPFA will be reviewing and acting on a newly drafted strategic plan to drive the association's initiatives and programs. The 2001 Fall Meeting schedule includes the regular meetings of the Product Line Committees, including the newly established Thermoplastic Industrial Pipe Systems Committee, and its Code Policy and Third Party Certification Committees.
