In an effort to shrink implementation fees and create more flexible tools for distributors to adapt to their own schedules, Prophet 21 is replacing on-site and travel-intensive training with University Web-based and computer-based training.

Participants in Web-based training can work in one- to two-hour classes delivered over the Internet, thus eliminating travel expenses. Students interact online in real-time with the instructor and other students. Using an Internet browser, students log on to a specified Web site to view class handouts, gain hands-on experience with Prophet 21 software, listen to the instructor, and verbally ask questions.

Prophet 21's computer-based training, delivered via CD-ROM, incorporates audio, video, and animation to instruct users in the operation of Prophet 21's enterprise software solutions. These training disks can be reused, enabling distributors to train new employees as they enter the company. Computer-based training incorporates extensive tests and can be purchased individually or in suites.

Any distributor investing in Prophet 21 CommerceCenter since April 11 will automatically receive the new implementation program.
