This year marks the 70th year of operation for Selkirk Canada Corp. in Canada. In 1933, Kelly Svenson took down a metal Coca-Cola sign and fabricated the first metal chimney in Selkirk, Manitoba. Manufacturing began in Winnipeg soon after and now the Selkirk brand serves markets all around the world and continues to be a strong chimney and venting company in Canada.

To mark the occasion of its 70th year, the company has developed a commemorative logo and plans to mix this message in with its advertising and communications efforts throughout the year.

Selkirk operates two manufacturing facilities to serve the Canadian wholesale, hearth, and retail markets.
