Digital thermostat controls will be the topic of discussion in November when Emerson Climate Technologies and Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) present a one-day seminar titled "Digital T-stat Controls." The seminar will take place on Nov. 6, 2002 at the Sheraton Billings Hotel in Billings, Mont. This is the first in a series of 2002-2003 RSES seminars that are co-sponsored by Emerson Climate Technologies.

Led by instructor and 12-year HVAC industry veteran Ken Owen of White-Rodgers, part of Emerson Climate Technologies, the seminar will provide a complete overview of digital thermostat technology, features and programming. It will also present a discussion on hot surface ignition and an introduction to silicon nitride upgrade kits and troubleshooting techniques.

Seminar registration fees are $195 for RSES members, $195 for RSES corporate members and $295 for non-members (includes one-year RSES membership). Fees are $245 for members of industry-related associations. Fees include seminar materials, refreshments and lunch.
