The Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating will host a trade/consumer show and conference for plumbing and hydronic heating March 4-6 in Toronto.

Focus - CIPHEX Ontario 2004 is expected to have 300 exhibit booths and draw 6,000 attendees. Home Renovation Day on Saturday, March 6, is open to the general public and will include celebrity speakers, contests and promotions.

Free pre-registration for the trade show is offered to industry members prior to March 1. On-site registration will cost $10. General admission for Home Renovation Day is $10.

The event will include technical seminars, panel discussions and workshops led by industry experts on topics including Ventilation/Air Quality Options For Hot Water Heating Systems; Designing Heating Systems That Meet the Kyoto Protocol; Air Conditioning Options For Hot Water Heated Homes; and a special consumer session - “Never Shovel Snow Again!” John Siegenthaler, hydronic heating author and educator, will present two-hour workshops for hydronics specialists on March 4 and 5. On Home Renovation Day, Richard Trethewey, host of PBS's “This Old House,” will present “Comfort Heating for Your Home,” to promote the benefits of hydronic heating. Kimberley Seldon, host of “Design for Living” on HGTV and a regular on City-TV's “City Line” will speak on new design trends and ideas.
