NetPlus Alliance has been developed to provide buying group benefits to small and medium-sized industrial supplies distributors. The organization will work directly with manufacturers to secure value-added pricing programs on behalf of its membership. Distributors will still control purchase orders, title of goods and remit payment directly to the manufacturer. Annual rebate checks will be issued to each distributor based on its purchases from NetPlus Alliance manufacturers.

Dan Judge, a 30-year veteran of the industrial distribution industry and an active member of the Industrial Distribution Association, is president of NetPlus Alliance. While president of Ward, Beals & McCarthy, Judge was one of six founding members of I.D. One, the first buying group in the industrial distribution industry. He became president of I.D. One in 1993.

Other staff members include: Dianne Comstock, financial director, formerly chief financial officer with I.D. One; Shirley Weiland, operations director, formerly office manager with I.D. One; Dan O'Brien, vice president, formerly vice president/marketing and sales of Commodity Management Software (CMS), the technology subsidiary of I.D. One; Karl Tschaepe, technical director, formerly technical support specialist for CMS' Netcore system; Paul Haber, vice president, formerly vice president/sales for Ward, Beals and McCarthy; and Karl Puzio, vice president, formerly director/purchasing for Outokumpu American Brass.
