• Ferguson appointed Bill Brundage chief financial officer. In his new role, Brundage has direct responsibility for all finance functions, acquisitions and risk management at the Newport News, Va.-based distributor. He succeeds retiring CFO Dave Keltner. Brundage joined Ferguson in 2003 from PricewaterhouseCoopers as manager of finance and was promoted to corporate controller two years later. In 2008, he was promoted to vice president of finance, a position he held until his promotion to senior vice president of finance in 2016.

  • Wolseley Canada announced the appointment of Kevin Fancey to the position of president, effective June 5. Fancey joins Wolseley from G&K Services where he served as president since 2013. Fancey reports to Simon Oakland, CEO, Canada, and Central Europe and group head of corporate development, Wolseley plc.

  • Columbus, Ohio-based Eastway Supplies promoted Scott Plinke to vice president. Plinke has 30 years of experience in the industry and joined Eastway in 1996. Eastway is a family-owned business that serves the plumbing, PVF, industrial and builder markets.

  • Harry Lampe joined The Distribution Point as director of product development. Lampe will focus on the development and growth of TDP’s private-label brands.

  • Thermostat Recycling Corp. named Janet Tirado director of marketing and communications. In other company news, TRC moved its national headquarters to 500 Office Center Dr., Suite 400, Fort Washington, Pa.

  • Mestek’s Distributor Products Group appointed Manny Dasilva president, operations for RBI, promoted Mike Nihill to vice president, operations and Matt Kleszczynski to director of marketing for all DPG product offerings, while announcing Dan Torres transitioned into his new role as product manager for SpacePak. Also, Tim McNeill was named director, application engineering and presales support, Tom Neill was promoted to applications engineering manager for all DPG product offerings and Mike Nolan has been named senior applications engineer, working in the Presale Support department.

  • Mike Donleavy joined T&S Brass as Eastern regional sales manager for plumbing, joining sales managers Jon Gustafson and Eric Isenbarger. Also, Zach Theisen was named director of key accounts for plumbing. David Kachurak was named director of specifications for plumbing.

  • HeatLink announced Troy Timmer has been promoted to regional sales manager for the northeastern United States.

  • Columbia Pipe & Supply earned the owner-member of the year in the pipe, valves and fittings category at the supplyFORCE national meeting.  Each year supplyFORCE recognizes owner-member distributors and manufacturer partners that demonstrate excellence and deliver value to customers. “Columbia Pipe & Supply has been significant in recent contract wins,” supplyFORCE stated. “They actively participate on contracts and customer opportunities, commit necessary resources and are in constant communication with the supplyFORCE team regarding contracts and new opportunities.” supplyFORCE is a multi-category MRO buying group.

  • Blackman Plumbing Supply recently upgraded and went live on Mincron’s version 12.1 of its core ERP system along with version 2.0 of its StockSmart automated warehouse management system. Blackman has been a Mincron customer since 1988. Also at Mincron, irrigation distributor TWC is now using the SmartDistributor complete ERP business-management solution. A-H Distributors also implemented Mincron’s warehouse-management solution at its new distribution center.
