Expansion, Acquisitions … Bradford White

May 2, 2008

Bradford White converted its 50,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, into a distribution center serving all of Canada and moved production of oil-powered and indirect water heaters to its manufacturing facilities in Middleville, MI. The Laars® Heating Systems, a subsidiary of Bradford White, was also part of the conversion.

All Laars Canadian operations at the Oakville, Ontario facility, including distribution, order processing, product conversion and training have joined Bradford White-Canada in Mississauga. One-third of that facility is reserved for Laars® Heating Systems products and two-thirds is dedicated to Bradford White products. Replacement parts for both companies are also inventoried at the new distribution center.
