NSF International issued a correction to a press release sent out Feb. 13, 2009, noting that Kohler, Moen and Price Pfister have become the first faucet companies certified by NSF to have certain plumbing products comply with the new low-lead requirements in California and Vermont, slated to take effect next Jan. 1. The italicized clause was added following complaints by Delta Faucet and Chicago Faucets, both of which had products previously certified to the same requirements by other certification agencies. This publication reported the original press release on Feb. 16, 2009.
