Here are more products seen at the 2006 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show held in Chicago last spring. Additional products will be featured in the September issue in Part 3 of this series.

TOTO

TOTO introduced the Ryohan suite for the bath, inspired by a Zen Japanese garden. Its design reflects the pattern wind makes on sand, which mimics the ripples it creates on water. It includes a self-rimming lavatory, an EcoPower sensor faucet and a one-piece, universal height toilet with skirted bowl.

Hansgrohe

Hansgrohe offers its newest designer collection, Axor Montreux, which reflects the “belle époque” era at the turn of the 20th century. Its traditional look combines clear, geometric shapes with design elements such as filigree cross handles, exposed piping and ceramic components. It includes faucets, shower products and bath accessories.

American Standard

American Standard addresses the European minimalist design trend with its new One™ faucet collection. It includes a single-control or two-handle widespread faucet for lavatories, a monoblock and two wall-mount styles for vessel sinks (one-handle and two-handle), a showerhead, a bath and shower faucet, a deck-mount tub filler and a two-handle bidet design.

Bain Ultra

Bain Ultra invited customers and guests to experience the hydro-thermo massage in its air jet bath at the House of Blues Hotel during K/BIS. The offer included a 20-minute soak in the tub pictured here, located in the Blues Brothers Suite. Aromatherapy oils, bath teas or therapeutic mud could be added to the water.

Kohler Co.

Kohler unveiled its Escale Suite for the bathroom, featuring the minimalist design popular in Europe, with a look inspired by Japanese ceramic tableware. The suite includes a freestanding bathtub with add-on pillow; a drop-in BubbleMassage™ bath and soaking bath; complementary basins, vanity tops and Vessels lavatories; and select wood furniture.
