Wolseley Acquires Louisiana Chemical PVF
Ferguson Enterprises Inc. acquired Louisiana
Chemical Pipe, Valve & Fitting Inc., expanding its presence in the Gulf Coast.
Ferguson Enterprises Inc. announced the acquisition of Louisiana Chemical Pipe, Valve & Fitting Inc. (Louisiana Chemical PVF) in an asset transaction completed August 29. The company will operate as part of Ferguson’s industrial division, Wolseley Industrial Group, which is a leading supplier of solutions to the North American industrial market.
Louisiana Chemical is a distributor of stainless steel, carbon steel and nickel alloy pipe, valves, fittings and flanges. The company was established in 1998 by Bobby DeAngelo, who will remain as general manager. The company has three locations, two in Baton Rouge and one in Sulphur, LA.
“Louisiana Chemical PVF is a strong and reputable company in the Baton Rouge market and has been since 1998,” said Rob Braig, vice president for Wolseley Industrial Group. “There is a strong demand for PVF products and services in the Gulf Coast region and we are confident this acquisition will enable us to fully meet this demand by enhancing our local presence.”
