PMI announces 2010 Officers

Lee Mercer was recently elected the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute’s (PMI) new Board President for 2010 at this year’s Fall meeting held October 11-14 in Arlington, VA. He succeeds 2009 PMI President, Walt Strader, vice president, strategic technology for Price Pfister (Ret.), who will continue to serve as PMI Immediate Past President.

Also elected to serve on the  2010 PMI Executive Committee include William Ball, vice president of WCM Industries as First Vice President; Jack Krecek, vice president and general manager, Commercial Business Unit for Elkay Manufacturing as Second Vice President; Stewart Yang, vice president, engineering, global faucets for Kohler Co.as Treasurer.  

Newly elected Directors at Large include Casey Hayes, director of engineered solutions for Haws Corp. and John Watson, director, technical services for Sloan Valve Co.

Returning Directors at Large include Jeff Baldwin, engineering manager for T&S Brass and Bronze Works Inc.; Fred Fraisse, vice president of sales for NEOPERL and Tim Kilbane, national sales manager for Symmons Industries. There is one vacant seat on the PMI Board yet to be filled, by appointment.
